An Eerie Morning on Pender Island

The Forecast was sunny, we had planned and watched the weather for a few days... Sunny and a mild 7 degrees was on the radar. Saturday we would go because Sunday was going to rain, but not Saturday, Saturday was going to be sunny. We would hike and visit the beach and explore this little Gulf Island and make the most of this sunny winters day in the Pacific North West.... But its the PNW... No weather is certain...

We woke up early, drank coffee, got ready and made our way to Swartz Bay ferry Terminal for the 9:35am Ferry to Pender Island... It was wet in Victoria but we had hope... It would clear up.

Upon arrival into Otter Bay Terminal we were greeted with more dark grey skies, more rain and more dreary views.

It wasn't the day we had planned... We didn't hike and we didn't stay for as long as we hoped...

But what I can say is that Pender Island is one intriguing little Island. I think the weather may have really impacted our first impression of Pender Island... But my dark side really enjoyed the quirky, eerie and some what hauntingly intriguing photo opportunities... Ladies and Gentlemen, My take on Pender Island
