Its been a BC bucket list item for awhile now and finally last weekend we had the chance to visit Squamish and do the Sea to Sky Gondola. The morning started off cloudy with rain falling on the drive there.
Upon arrival, we boarded the Gondola and enjoyed a slow ascend up the mountain into the clouds. It was cold and windy up the top but the clouds were slowly beginning to dissipate and we could see glimpses of the beautiful landscape ahead of us.
Within an hour of wandering the trails to the lookout point, between bursts of sun and snow falling simultaneously... the sun had won the battle and it came out in full force. The curtain of clouds disappeared and the beauty of BC was revealed to us.
I still have to pinch myself sometimes that I actually live here!
